ARTS Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts are pleased to present the Neck of the Woods performance series! The event takes place on three Friday nights each year from 7-9pm at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St. in Wake Forest.
A Neck of the Woods show features four to five 15-20 minute acts. Admission is $5. Upcoming shows in 2021 are currently scheduled for July 16. Our Youth Edition (under 21) takes place on October 15. There is a cash bar (beer, wine and other refreshments) at the July 16 show. Refreshments are offered for the youth event.
Neck of the Woods features area artists who are willing to volunteer and share their art in front of a live audience. Each show is different and features a variety of artists. We are seeking actors, dancers, musicians, singers, comedians, poets, magicians, mimes and spoken word artists. If you are an interested artist, please send an email with your contact information and a link to a video of your performance to ARTS Wake Forest.
The Neck of the Woods Performance Series exists to enrich the cultural life in Wake Forest by providing a place for area performing artists of varied disciplines to come together, experiment, and share their work with their community. Not just for the artist, this performance series connects Wake Forest residents and beyond to excellent performances with uniquely arranged shows so they can enjoy authentic performing art in their neck of the woods.
