Supporting Local Talent
Wake Forest is fortunate to serve as home to a wealth of talented professional and emerging artists including visual artists, writers, musicians, photographers and more. AWF believes that these artists play an essential role in the vibrancy of our community. They help shape and inspire our youth, enhance our neighborhoods, and improve economic development efforts. They feed our souls and minds. AWF strives to provide a level of support to area artists that reflects this belief.

Opportunities for Visual Artists
The Wake Forest Guild of Artists (WFGA) is an ongoing program of ARTS Wake Forest (AWF) which includes monthly meetings that present a wide range of topics through seminars, demos and socials. ARTS Wake Forest’s juried Holiday Artisans Market is open to applicants who create original artwork. This Market is held inside and outside the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre on the first Saturday of each December.
