Each spring for more than 20 years, the volunteers of Wake Forest Arts have presented the free, family-friendly Six Sundays concerts. The series is held at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest on consecutive Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm starting April 30 and concluding June 4.
Concert-goers are invited to bring family, friends, a picnic (or choose from the offerings of five food trucks) and enjoy a different type of music each week. Concerts this year include Jazz, Celtic Rock, Beach Music, Bluegrass, Folk/Americana, and a Mariachi Band.
Six Sundays is co-sponsored by the Town of Wake Forest. Special thanks also this year to The Wege Foundation, Wake Forest Authors Lauren & Drew Bridges, the Realtors of the Allen Tate Rogers Road office, and Sam’s Express Car Wash. PineCone presents the June 4 concert.
