Their first concert was March, 1953, and now, twenty years later, the Wake Forest Singers celebrate their 20th anniversary! The Singers’ major concert this year is planned for Sunday, May 5th, from 3pm to 5pm, at E. Carroll Joyner Park, and it is is the first of the Six Sundays in Spring series this year. Rehearsals start Thursday, February 7, at 7pm at the St Johns Episcopal Church at 830 Durham, Rd. The anniversary year kicks off with a Reception/Reunion on Sunday, January 27th from 3-5pm, at the Birthplace Annex on North Main St. See our Wake Forest Singers page for more information on the group and how to join.
